What is Buckeye Pet Partners?​

Buckeye Pet Partners is a collaboration of experienced animal rescuers who have come together to form a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) tax-exempt rescue organization. We have just launched, and we couldn't be more excited! We are looking for volunteers, foster homes, donations, and other support.

Our name has real meaning.

We are a partnership of rescuers - that means, keeping within the basic policies set by our board, EVERYONE in our group is welcome to share ideas, opinions, criticisms, and other information about animal rescue. We believe that working TOGETHER is how we make the biggest difference for animals in need in central Ohio. Ideas put forth by our members and volunteers that have foundation, can be backed up with solid information, and have actionable steps will be considered by our board.

Buckeye Pet Partners is a registered nonprofit, 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization established in 2018. At this time, we operate exclusively out of foster homes. Please keep in mind we are a 100% volunteer-ran organization operating solely on public donations and grants. We are committed to doing everything we can for cats, kittens and dogs in our community.

We have placed over 2,000 animals in loving homes since our inception in 2018.
